General Cashier

Job Description
A General Cashier is responsible for handling and controlling the company's cash transactions. The main role is to receive, record, secure, and distribute money accurately.
They manage daily cash collections from different departments, prepare bank deposits, keep proper records, and ensure all cash balances match reports. A General Cashier also works closely with the Finance team to maintain accountability and prevent errors or loss.

Selection Criteria
. Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
. Previous experience in a cashier or finance role (hotel experience is an advantage)
. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
. Good knowledge of basic accounting procedures
. Ability to work with confidential financial information
. Good communication and organizational skills
. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems
