About the Role
The successful applicant will support the screening and monitoring of the nutritional status of young children aged 6 months to 5 years, participate in regular community outreach activities, and work collaboratively with health professionals and community teams to promote child wellbeing.
Organisation Description
Wan Smolbag Theatre is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Community Nutrition Screening Team, working in close partnership with the Ministry of Health and SHEFA Health Services. This role plays a key part in improving early childhood health and nutrition in communities across SHEFA Province.
Selection Criteria
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in Vanuatu
- Experience working with infants and young children is an advantage
- Strong communication and community engagement skills
- Ability to work in outreach settings and travel to communities as required
- Team player with a passion for child health, nutrition, and community development
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow MoH clinical standards
