PRIMARY TEACHERS

We are seeking outstanding applicants for multiple roles, Kindergarten and Primary teachers (Years
1-6), starting as early as Term 2 (April, 2026).

Teouma Christian Academy is a Christ-centered school providing high quality learning experiences for 250 students from K-9. We offer an empowering, positive and fulfilling work environment with class sizes capped at 25 students, ongoing professional development and highly competitive salary
rates.There is limited dormitory housing available for single teachers without family.

We are seeking teachers who have:

• a strong and active Christian faith, possibly including prior involvement with YWAM
• formal qualifications in Education (Degree, Diploma or Certificate) from accredited institutions
• excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken (skills in French are highly desirable)
• experience teaching and working with children and a high degree of motivation to see students cared for, educated and equipped for positive futures
• a strong work ethic, integrity, initiative, punctuality and commitment to the role
• the ability to work effectively as part of a close, supportive team and to show kindness to all
• The ability to arrive in Teouma Valley on time at 0715 every morning
• a valid Police Clearance certificate
• personal warmth, patience, tolerance, empathy, understanding and positivity
