Manager Boutique Fromage, Charcuterie et Café

Job Description:

For our client PROVEDORE FINE FOODS LTD, we are seeking a Manager to oversee a Cheese, Charcuterie, and Café shop and deliver exceptional service to customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all daily operations of the store
  • Ensure the proper setup and presentation of products (cheeses, cold cuts, coffees, and other items)
  • Manage inventory and ensure product restocking
  • Enhance the store arrangement to improve customer satisfaction
  • Welcome and advise customers on available products
  • Ensure customer retention by providing excellent service and personalized attention
  • Supervise and train the sales staff on products and sales techniques
  • Organize work schedules and distribute responsibilities among team members
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the store’s products
  • Coordinate events and activities (tastings and workshops)
  • Oversee social media and communication related to the store’s activity
  • Monitor sales and analyze the store’s performance
  • Handle the cash register, make bank deposits, and oversee daily financial operations
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards

Requirements:

  • Degree in Commerce or other relevant sector
  • An thorough understanding of French culinary arts (charcuterie, cheese, and fine grocery) is mandatory
  • Strong communication skills in French are required to liaise with French suppliers
  • Having an excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards is essential
