“SOLAR ENGINEER”
Vanuatu Utility and Infrastructure Limited (VUI) is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Engineer to join our team and who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and contribute to our mission of advancing sustainable energy solutions in Luganville.
This includes:
- Design and develop solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) systems and solar thermal systems
- Conduct site assessments to determine feasibility and optimal placement of solar panels
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents for solar projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation and integration with existing systems
- Perform system performance analysis and optimization to maximize energy output and efficiency
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in solar energy
Qualifications:
- More than 5 years’ experience working as Solar Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
- Proven experience in solar engineering, including design, installation, and maintenance of solar energy systems
- Proficiency in CAD software and solar modelling tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
