Position Title: NDT Technician
Job description:
- Planning and scheduling of weekly NDT works, liaise with clients and supervise projects as required.
- Verifying summary and documentation control and ensure all inspections performed to Test Procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure strict adherence of all 3PI Policies: PPE, Safety, Driving, Drug & Alcohol.
- Will conduct NDT inspections and interpret results to accept/reject parts.
- Required to interpret codes, standards, drawings, and other contractual documents that control the NDT method.
- Ability to select the NDT method and technique for a specific inspection, prepare and verify the adequacy of procedures.
- Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment.
- Familiar with IANZ’s requirement if accredited job is required.
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
- Organize and report test results.
- Encourage participation from operations, technical and maintenance in developing innovative solutions to problems.
- Plan daily and long-term maintenance activities.
- May instruct and supervise trainees.
Essential Criteria:
# Minimum requirement two ISO 9712 Level 2 certifications
- ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT, PAUT
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience post qualification • Good communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding and commitment to HSE • Advanced attention to detail and organizational skills
