The redesigned website should clearly communicate VIT’s vision as an inclusive vocational training provider and showcase opportunities and support services available to diverse learners. This would specifically showcase services and support systems for women.
The website will serve as an entry point for prospective students, families, and communities to learn about VIT, providing clear and accessible information on the institution’s mission, values, programs, facilities, and achievements, while showcasing inclusive training opportunities and the diverse experiences of VIT learners. The website would provide enhanced user experience that enables prospective students to access detailed course information, VIT policies and be able to register or enroll.
The redesigned website will also support the project’s broader communication and outreach efforts by providing a central platform to promote VIT training opportunities and connect with prospective students through digital communication channels and social media.
Specifically, the redesigned website will:
- Accurately reflect VIT’s institutional identity and align visually with leading regional vocational education providers such as TAFE in Australia.
- Deliver a seamless, mobile-responsive, and accessible user experience across all devices, ensuring ease of access for diverse users.
- Incorporate clear and searchable course information, including an advanced course search function and integrated news and events management systems.
- Support online applications, secure portal access, and analytics tools to monitor user engagement and website performance.
- Strengthen institutional visibility through effective search engine optimization (SEO), digital communication tools, and engaging multimedia content.
- Clearly communicate VIT’s mission and strategic objectives while showcasing inclusive training opportunities, scholarships, student services, and success stories that reflect the diversity of VIT learners.
- Equip VIT staff with the necessary training and tools to ensure sustainable, inclusive, and efficient website management.
