ICT TUTOR /LAB INSTRUCTOR

The ICT Tutor / Lab Instructor will be responsible for teaching practical classes and preparing laboratory exercises in Information and Communication Technology for the National University of Vanuatu. The ICT Tutor / Lab Instructor will support the delivery of undergraduate ICT courses under the supervision of ICT Lecturers and in accordance with the academic priorities of the NUV School of Science.
The ICT Tutor / Lab Instructor will be responsible for:
- Preparing and delivering ICT tutorials, laboratories and practical classes for undergraduate students.
- Supporting teaching in ICT areas such as Systems, Networking, Software Development, Databases, Cloud Computing, DevOps and Cybersecurity.
- Ensuring the quality and timely set-up of hardware, software and laboratory environments for practical classes.
- Developing practical laboratory exercises and learning activities in collaboration with course lecturers.
- Assessing and grading lab work and providing feedback to support student learning.
- Providing practical support, guidance and mentorship to undergraduate students.
- Working closely with lecturers, program heads and faculty members to support effective teaching and learning across ICT courses.
- Contributing to a collaborative and interdisciplinary academic environment within the School of Science and the National University of Vanuatu.”
