Job Description
The Senior Automotive Painter is responsible for carrying out high-quality vehicle preparation, refinishing, and painting work while ensuring that all completed jobs meet company quality standards, customer expectations, and workplace safety requirements. The position also provides technical guidance to junior painters and supports continuous improvement within the paint department.
Organisation Description
Orig's Auto Panel Shop is a specialized auto body repair facility dedicated to the meticulous repair and restoration of vehicle exterior body panels. Also, assess and repair various types of damage to vehicle panels. This can include dents, scratches, creases, rust, and even major collision damage.
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate should possess:
• Demonstrated experience as an Automotive Painter.
• Advanced knowledge of vehicle preparation, paint systems, colour matching, and refinishing techniques.
• Ability to operate spray-painting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is desirable.
