Job Description

Ocean Logistics Limited (OLL) is seeking an experienced and motivated Vessel Engineer to join our Marine Services team in Vanuatu.

The Vessel Engineer will be responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of vessel engines, machinery and mechanical systems. The successful applicant will work closely with the Master, Deck Crew and Maintenance Team to ensure vessels remain operational, seaworthy and compliant with company and safety requirements.

Selection Criteria

- Relevant marine engineering qualification, trade certificate or equivalent experience.

- Previous experience working as a Vessel Engineer, Marine Engineer, Marine Mechanic or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of marine diesel engines and auxiliary machinery.

- Practical mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and machinery specifications.

- Good understanding of vessel safety procedures and engine room operations.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a marine crew.

- Physically fit and able to work in a marine environment.

- Strong commitment to safety and environmental protection.
