Job Description
All-Daycare is looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time role working with children aged 1 to 6 years across our early childhood centre. The role involves supporting children with their daily routines, learning and play, while helping to provide a safe, positive and engaging environment. We are looking for someone who is punctual, dependable, works well as part of a team and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
Organisation Description
All-Daycare is a full-day early childhood education and care centre based in Port Vila, providing a safe, caring and engaging environment for children aged 1 to 6 years. Our focus is on supporting each child’s learning, development and wellbeing through play, positive relationships and age-appropriate experiences.
Selection Criteria
• Must be reliable, punctual and have a good attitude towards work.
• Caring, patient and confident working with young children aged 1 to 6 years.
• Able to communicate well in English. French language skills would be an advantage.
• Able to work well as part of a team, follow instructions and take direction.
• Energetic, positive and willing to be actively involved in children’s learning, play and daily routines.
• Willing to learn and develop skills in early childhood education and care.
• Previous experience working with young children and/or an ECCE or childcare qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right applicant.
• Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, within All-Daycare’s operating hours of 6:30am to 5:30pm.
• Professional and respectful when working with children, families and other staff.
