Gardener Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for Gardener Supervisor to join our resort team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily gardening and landscaping activities to maintain the resort grounds in a clean, attractive, and welcoming condition.

• Oversee the mowing of lawns and the trimming, pruning, and maintenance of flowers, shrubs, trees, and other landscaped areas.

• Supervise the collection of rubbish and coordinate its proper disposal and transportation to the designated dumpsite.

• Assist and coordinate with farmers in planting, watering, pruning, weeding, and general maintenance of gardens as required.

• Operating garden equipment and tools for specific gardening tasks.

• Attend to landscaping activities facilitated by Supervisor/Manager

• Manage and clean gardening equipment and tools and make sure they are properly stored

• Make prompt reports to Managers on any maintenance issues or damage made to equipment and tools.

Selection Criteria

• At least 2-3 years' of experience as a gardener supervisor in a hotel/resort.

• Ability to work alone and as a team.

• Knowledge of plants, and have passion for keeping the environment clean at all times.

• Good attention to details and have pride in maintaining high standard of gardening in a resort.

• Must be physically fit to work and clean in a large outdoor area, and to lift and carry equipment to one area to the next, loading and throwing rubbish.

• Must have good communication skills, preferably in English.

• Have a positive and polite attitude towards guests, visitors and staff.
