Viva Beach Club is seeking an experienced, hands-on Resort Manager for a three-month contract. The role involves overseeing accommodation, restaurant and bar operations, supervising staff, managing bookings and guest service, maintaining resort presentation, monitoring daily revenue and expenses, and coordinating basic maintenance. The successful candidate will be organised, commercially minded, guest-focused and comfortable living on-site in Vanuatu.

## Resort Manager – Three-Month Contract

**Viva Beach Club | Pango, Port Vila, Vanuatu**

Viva Beach Club is seeking an experienced, hands-on Resort Manager for an initial three-month contract.

You will oversee the daily operation of our boutique beachfront resort, including accommodation, restaurant, bar, day-pass guests, staff supervision and property presentation. This is a practical role for someone who enjoys being visible, solving problems and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading, rostering and supervising resort, restaurant, bar and housekeeping staff

* Ensuring rooms and public areas are clean, maintained and guest-ready

* Managing check-ins, checkouts, bookings and guest enquiries

* Maintaining excellent restaurant, bar and customer-service standards

* Monitoring daily sales, expenses, cash handling and operational KPIs

* Increasing restaurant, day-pass and accommodation revenue

* Managing stock levels, purchasing and supplier relationships

* Responding professionally to guest feedback and complaints

* Coordinating maintenance and reporting urgent property issues

* Ensuring staff comply with workplace, hygiene, safety and company procedures

* Providing the owner with concise daily updates and weekly performance reports

The successful candidate will be:

* Experienced in resort, hotel, restaurant or hospitality management

* Energetic, organised and commercially minded

* Confident leading and holding staff accountable

* Warm, professional and naturally guest-focused

* Comfortable working independently and making practical decisions

* Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends when required

* Available to live on-site and commit fully for three months

The initial appointment is for three months, with the possibility of extension or a longer-term position if the arrangement is successful for both parties.
