Job Description
Iririki Island Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced and motivated IT Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the resort’s IT infrastructure, systems, networks and technology services, ensuring reliable and secure IT support across all departments and resort operations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the resort’s IT infrastructure, systems, servers, networks and hardware.
- Ensure reliable operation of internet, Wi-Fi, telephone, email and other technology services.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff across all departments.
- Manage IT security, user access, passwords, backups and data protection.
- Monitor and maintain computer hardware, software and network equipment.
- Manage IT-related vendors, suppliers, contractors and service providers.
- Oversee the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
- Ensure hotel/resort operating systems and applications are functioning effectively.
- Maintain IT asset registers, licenses, warranties and service records.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures and security protocols.
- Provide IT support during system upgrades, projects and new technology implementations.
- Ensure appropriate backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
- Monitor IT costs and assist with budgeting and procurement of IT equipment and services.
- Train and support staff in the effective and secure use of IT systems.
- Respond promptly to IT incidents and operational requirements.

Selection Criteria
- Proven experience in an IT Manager, IT Supervisor, or similar senior IT role, preferably within a hotel or resort environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer networks, servers, Wi-Fi, hardware, software and IT security.
- Experience with hotel/resort IT systems and applications will be an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, backups and access control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and provide effective support to all departments.
- Relevant IT qualifications, certifications, or equivalent professional experience.
