MECHANIC

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles and mechanical equipment to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine vehicle servicing and preventative maintenance.
Diagnose mechanical faults and identify repair requirements.
Repair and replace faulty engine components, brakes, suspension, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
Perform vehicle inspections and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
Use diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and hand tools safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and maintenance work.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

Relevant mechanical qualification or trade certificate is preferred.
Previous experience as a mechanic is an advantage.
Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, and fault diagnosis.
Ability to use mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Honest, punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.A valid driver’s licence is preferred.
