TIMBER FRAMING SITE SUPERVISOR & WORKSHOP LEAD
Ratua Island Resort is seeking a highly experienced Timber Framing Supervisor for its resort development project in Santo.
Location: Aore Island & Ratua Island, Vanuatu.
Contract: Full-time, project-based employment.
The successful candidate will supervise timber workshop operations, traditional timber framing, prefabrication and on-site structural assembly.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in traditional timber framing and construction.
- Recognised advanced vocational qualifications in carpentry/timber framing (CAP/BP or equivalent).
- Expertise in traditional timber layout, stereotomy and heavy timber assembly.
- Proficiency in CADWORK and/or SEMA software.
- Knowledge of Eurocode 5 and NZS 3604 standards.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to train Ni-Vanuatu workers.
