GENDER EQUITY & SOCIAL INCLUSION OFFICER

VACANCY NOTICE

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development wishes to recruit an experienced qualified person for Agricultural Investment for Markets & Nutrition Project to the following position:

Job Title: Gender Equity & Social Inclusion Officer
Annual Salary VT: 2.4- 2.6 million
Location: Port Vila
Duration: 4-5 years

Selection Criteria:

1. A higher degree in social sciences, rural development or related discipline.
2. Highly motivated and committed to gender equality and social inclusion.
3. At least five years working experience on gender and social inclusion issues.
4. Experience in agriculture and rural development projects.
5. Experience in designing and delivering training modules would be an advantage.
6. Computer literacy is requisite and good command of spoken and written English, (French would be an advantage) and Bislama is essential.
