“The Board of Directors is seeking a visionary and results-driven CEO to lead AVL through a critical phase of infrastructure expansion and operational recovery. Under the general direction and oversight of the Board, you will be responsible for Strategic Leadership, Commercial Growth, Safety & Compliance, Stakeholder Engagement, and reporting to the Board and meeting statutory reporting requirements.
Near term priorities include overseeing arrangements and completion of extensive renovations of existing terminal facilities by the end of 2026; finalising and introducing a new staff remuneration framework, negotiating and finalising Community Service Commitment agreements with stakeholders, renegotiating agreements with international airlines as required (landing charges, passenger charges, security levy etc), and ensuring a sustained return to profitability for the company.”
