INVENTORY/ LOGISTICS MANAGER

Job Description

- Oversee and manage inventory control, warehousing, and logistics operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

- Develop and implement inventory policies, procedures, and systems to minimise waste and optimise stock levels.

- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to align supply chain activities with company objectives.

- Supervise stock controllers and warehouse staff, providing training and performance evaluation.

- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, shipping requirements, and company standards.

- Prepare and analyse inventory and logistics reports to support decision-making.

Organisation Description

Wholesale and retail distribution of consumer goods, food products, and general merchandise across Vanuatu.

Selection Criteria

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

- At least 7–10 years of professional experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations.

- Strong leadership and organisational skills with proven ability to manage teams.

- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office tools.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of customs procedures and shipping logistics in Vanuatu and the Pacific region.
