Contract: Fixed-term, full-time to September 2028
Palladium is seeking People and Culture Coordinators to join the PLMSP People and Culture team, supporting a large, DFAT‑funded program operating across Australia, the Pacific and Timor‑Leste.
While these roles are based in PLMSP’s Pacific offices, the People and Culture Coordinators support people practices across Australia, the Pacific and Timor‑Leste in close collaboration with the broader People and Culture team.
The role
The People and Culture Coordinator provides hands‑on, people‑focused advice and support across employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, culture and staff mobilisation within a complex, multi‑country, donor‑funded environment.
Working closely with country teams, managers and regional colleagues, the role helps ensure people practices are consistent, compliant and aligned with Palladium policies and DFAT requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide People and Culture advisory support to managers and staff across Australia, the Pacific and Timor‑Leste
- Support employee relations processes, escalating complex matters as required
- Contribute to workforce planning and recruitment activities for a development‑funded program
- Support onboarding, mobilisation and staff movements across countries
- Participate in people, culture and continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply and interpret employment compliance across diverse legislative contexts
- Work closely with Risk & Safety colleagues on wellbeing and safeguarding matters.
About you
You will bring:
- Experience in HR advisory, people and culture or similar roles
- Experience working in development‑funded, project‑based or multi‑stakeholder environments
- Sound understanding of employment compliance and HR best practice
- Strong communication, judgement and relationship‑building skills
- The ability to work confidently across different teams, cultures and working styles
