ADMIN / ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Geogas Vanuatu Limited is seeking to employ Admin/Accounts Officer to join our dedicated team in Port Vila. If you’re passionate about accounting and administration, with strong attention to detail, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily reconciliations for sales, bank accounts and stock.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment and invoicing.
  • Maintain accurate financial records using MYOB.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documents and records.
  • Handle general office administrative duties, including data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role.
  • Proficient in accounting software (MYOB or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be a fast learner with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
