Security Officer – Hardware Store / Yard Operations – Vanuatu
We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Security Officer to join our team and help maintain the safety and security of our hardware store, warehouse, and yard operations.
The successful candidate will play an important role in protecting company assets, staff, customers, and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and secure the hardware store, warehouse, and yard areas Control access to company premises and check visitors entering or leaving the site
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises
- Monitor loading and unloading activities to prevent unauthorized removal of materials
- Record vehicle movements and deliveries when required
- Respond promptly to incidents, suspicious activities, or emergencies
- Ensure compliance with company safety and security procedures
- Prepare daily security reports and incident logs
- Assist customers and staff in maintaining a safe environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in security work is preferred
- Good observation and communication skills
- Honest, reliable, and disciplined attitude
- Security training or certification is an advantage but not mandatory
