ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

Position Available: Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Ramada Resort Port Vila is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team.

The successful candidate will support the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency across all housekeeping areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily management of the Housekeeping Department
  • Supervise and support housekeeping team members to ensure service standards are met
  • Conduct regular room inspections and ensure quality control
  • Coordinate room assignments, cleaning schedules, and daily operations
  • Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet resort standards
  • Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping staff
  • Monitor inventory, linen, amenities, and housekeeping supplies
  • Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns professionally
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or assistant management role,
    preferably within a hotel/resort environment
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and room standards
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office, email and PMS system
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy operation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts
