Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Professional Rigger to join our team for the installation of a steel structure and glass curtain facade. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in rigging, with a strong focus on safety and compliance to ensure that all operations meet regulatory and insurance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation Support: Collaborate with the construction team to ensure the safe and efficient installation of steel structures and glass curtain facades.
- Crane Operations: Guide crane operators during the lifting and placement of steel sections and glass panels, ensuring precision and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and standards, ensuring that all rigging activities are conducted safely and in accordance with industry best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate safety measures to minimize risks on site
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of rigging operations and ensure all activities are documented for compliance and insurance purposes
- Communication: Work closely with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate rigging activities and ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in rigging, particularly in the installation of steel structures and glass facades.
- Certification: Relevant rigging certifications that are recognized by insurance companies and meet local regulations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in rigging techniques, including the use of rigging equipment, safety protocols, and crane signaling.
- Insurance Compliance: Must have qualifications and experience that are acceptable to insurance companies, ensuring coverage in case of accidents on site.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to assess and address challenges that may arise during rigging operations.
