ISLAND SALES OFFICER
Vodafone Vanuatu is seeking four (4) Island Sales Officers to support the operation of its new Retail Container Kiosks located in:
- Sola – Vanua Lava
- Melsisi – Pentecost
- Northwest Malekula
- Isangel – Tanna
Mission:
Vodafone Vanuatu is looking for motivated, customer-focused and reliable individuals to join our Commercial Team as Island Sales Officers. This exciting opportunity will support the day-to-day operation of our new Vodafone Retail Container Kiosks, bringing telecommunications and digital services closer to our customers across the islands.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Vodafone products and services, including mobile, broadband, devices, M-Vatu and digital solutions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong customer relationships.
- Register customers and process activations, SIM replacements and service requests.
- Operate the assigned Vodafone Retail Container Kiosk in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist in the onboarding of M-Vatu merchants and agents.
- Process customer payments and M-Vatu transactions accurately.
- Maintain daily cash reconciliation, banking records and stock control.
- Ensure the kiosk is clean, secure and professionally presented.
- Prepare daily sales and operational reports.
- Promote Vodafone campaigns and community engagement activities.
- Comply with Vodafone policies, operational procedures and internal controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Secondary School qualification.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is an advantage.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in cash handling and stock management is desirable.
- Knowledge of telecommunications products and services or digital financial services is an advantage.
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Bislama is required. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in remote island locations.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and work effectively under pressure.
