VACANCY: FINANCE MANAGER

Live & Learn Vanuatu is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to lead and strengthen the financial management functions of the organisation.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, budgeting, reporting, compliance, payroll, donor financial management, and supporting strategic decision- making across the organisation’s programmes and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the organisation’s financial systems and reporting processes
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with donor and statutory requirements
  • Oversee payroll, audits, and cash flow management
  • Support project managers with financial planning and monitoring
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial procedures
  • Supervise finance staff and build team capacity

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) but not compulsory
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management
  • Experience working with donor-funded projects and NGOs is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Location:
Port Vila, Vanuatu

Remuneration: Base Salary range from 2.0 million Vatu to 3.0 million Vatu per year
