Waiter/Waitress

Job Description

Iririki Island Resort & Spa is looking for experienced Waiter/Waitress for our Food & Beverage Outlets.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, the duties for this role will include:

• Greet guests and make them feel comfortable.

• Be able to describe the menu appropriately to guests.

• Take beverage and food orders.

• Deliver beverages and food in a timely manner.

• Check-in with guests to ensure that everything is going well.

• Clear dirty dishes from table.

• Refill beverages throughout the meal.

• Work with other servers and be a team player.

• Follow verbal instructions given by your superiors

• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Previous experience in a Resort

• Resume and proven working experience as a Waiter/Waitress

• Liaise professionally with customers and fellow staff alike

• Excellent knowledge in serving food and drinks

• Ability to work under pressure

• Ability to work flexible hours

• Excellent grooming standards

• Knowledge of a second language is a plus

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Relevant training certificates
