RECRUITMENT & FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR

This is a front-facing role responsible for receiving walk-in workers and visitors, answering general queries, conducting candidate interviews (including scanning of primary documents), performing initial screening, and supporting basic worker communications. The role requires a friendly, professional manner, reliability, and the ability to manage a steady flow of people while maintaining confidentiality.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (30-minute unpaid lunch, rotated).
Essential Selection Criteria
- Friendly, patient and professional manner
- Clear spoken English and Bislama
- Ability to manage walk-ins calmly and efficiently
- Basic computer and scanning skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to handle personal and confidential information appropriately
- Genuine interest in serving workers and supporting the recruitment process
Desirable Selection Criteria
- Previous experience in customer service, reception or interviewing
- Valid driver’s licence (useful for occasional office errands)
- Good personal presentation
- Ability to work professionally and neutrally in a politically sensitive environment
Work experience
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, interviewing or a public-facing role is an advantage.
THIS JOB HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE JOB SHARED (PART TIME). So also suitable for those wanting to only work mornings or afternoons.
Indicative salary range – 45,000 – 65,000 (Probation starts at the lower end)
