We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Senior Customer Service Officer (Supervisor) to help lead our front-line team and ensure every customer enjoys a smooth, professional experience from booking to vehicle return.
About the Role
As the Senior Customer Service Officer, you will assist with the day-to-day leadership of our front-line customer service team, helping to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will support daily operations, staff guidance, training, customer service standards, and the smooth coordination of bookings, vehicle handovers and returns.
You will also be a key point of contact for customer reservations, ensuring clear, friendly, timely and professional communication in person, by email and over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for customers making or managing reservations, ensuring clear and professional communication by email, phone and in person.
- Oversee the accuracy of booking data and ensure customer correspondence is timely, clear and professional.
- Lead and support Customer Service Officers and Customer Service Drivers during daily operations.
- Coordinate customer service activities, airport operations, vehicle issue and vehicle return processes.
- Support and coordinate Customer Service, Driver and Fleet staff to ensure vehicles are prepared, delivered and collected on time.
- Assist with staff training, coaching and operational guidance.
- Support the Customer Service and Operations Coordinator with scheduling, procedures and operational tasks.
- Serve as Duty Manager when required, maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
- Maintain high standards of presentation across vehicles, office and yard areas.

Essential Requirements
- Experience using online reservation systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and in writing.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Professional presentation and a reliable work ethic.
- Honest, trustworthy and a strong team player.
- Fluent in English and Bislama.
- Current driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Eligible to live and work in Vanuatu.
Advantage
- Written and spoken French and/or Mandarin.
- Experience in the vehicle rental or tourism industry.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position on a rotating roster (five-and-a-half-day week) and includes rotating weekends and public holidays.
