VACANCY NOTICE
Junior Accountant

Ferrieux Patterson & Partners, a leading law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and detail- oriented Junior Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform daily bookkeeping functions.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and process staff payroll and salary payments.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and submit VNPF contributions and related documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax requirements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Utilize Xero Accounting Software for accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Support the Finance Team with audits and other accounting related duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience.
  • Proven experience using Xero Accounting Software.
  • Sound knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll processing, VAT compliance, and VNPF requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
