Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to provide a range of project and business management skills including planning, relationship management, business development, administration and design, to required functional and quality standards, to achieve the successful implementation of defined projects, while meeting project completion dates and budgets.
Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate is required to have:
- Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics or other appropriate qualifications, or a minimum of 4 years of experience at a managerial level in the construction industry
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an engineer or project manager on construction sites
- Proven experience in executing Tender Assessments ahead of granting subcontracts or supply agreements
- In-depth knowledge WHS guidelines environment, environmental and industrial relations regulations, legislations and standards
- Ability to read, interpret and explain building plans, drawings and blueprints
- Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction environment to ensure the provision of a safe workplace and safe working methods
- Proven leadership experience, providing guidance and direction to all staff
- Proven history in the management and administration of construction matters on a project
- Leadership and human resources management skills
