Job Description

Iririki Island Resort & Spa is seeking a suitable candidate to appoint for the role of Chief Financial Officer.

Keys & Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial reporting, compliance, and accounting processes

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies

• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement

• Implement and optimize financial controls and procedures

• Provide insights and recommendations to maximize profitability

• Work closely with F&B Director to track costs, margins, and operational efficiency

• Ability to plan and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines

• Capacity to train and coach other members of department

• Good understanding of business management with sound decision making

• Knowledge on International Financial Accounting in Hotels & Resorts , compliance reporting & Budget Preparation

• Ability to work in a team environment

Selection Criteria

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, minimum 5 years in the hospitality industry

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance

• Experience with restaurant financial management, including COGS, labour costs, and P&L analysis

• Proficiency in accounting software Xero and Excel

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
