Stock Controller
Carpenters Trading Vanuatu • Full-time
Job Description
In this position you will be expected to -
* Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records
* Receive incoming goods and verify quantities and quality against delivery documentation and invoices
* Organise, label and rotate stock within warehouse and storage areas
* Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
* Report stock discrepancies, shortages, damages and variances
* Maintain clean, orderly and efficient stockroom and warehouse areas
* Utilise inventory management systems, scanners and stock control tools
* Collaborate closely with warehouse staff, drivers and management teams
* Assist with routine stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory audits
* Comply with workplace health, safety and housekeeping standards
Organisation Description
Carpenters Trading Vanuatu is a rapidly growing Fast Moving Consumer Goods company that falls under the Carpenters Group umbrella, with our head office based at Carpenter Motors Vanuatu, Nambatri and an office in Santo.
Our products range from imported Premium Beers and Wines, RTDs, soft drinks and water to frozen goods.
Selection Criteria
We are looking someone with -
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in stock control, warehousing, inventory management or a similar role within an FMCG, retail or distribution environment
* Sound understanding of inventory control processes and stock management practices
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
* Proficiency in basic computer applications, including inventory systems and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
* Physically capable of handling, moving and organising stock when required
* Honest, reliable and accountable with a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
* Commitment to maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous stock accuracy
