POLITICAL OFFICER

The Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) Secretariat invites applications for the position of POLITICAL OFFICER, based at the MSG Secretariat Headquarters in Port Vila, Vanuatu.

The Political Officer is a key position in the Political, Security and Legal Affairs Division to provide strategic and policy advice on political issues affecting the MSG Member countries.

The position supports the Division in monitoring and analysing political developments within Member Countries and the wider region, identifying emerging issues and their potential implications for the MSG.

The Political Officer will also contribute to the development, implementation, and review of MSG policies, programmes, and initiatives relating to political and security matters, and support, coordination, and engagement with Member Countries, regional organisations, and other relevant stakeholders.

Interested applicants must be citizens of an MSG member country, including members of the FLNKS from New
Caledonia.
